If you want a non-stop flight (a direct flight might have a stop), you have to make some compromises because no airline currently flies Buffalo (BUF) to Miami (MIA) non-stop. Delta will take you to MIA with a stop in Atlanta (ATL) for $200. Check www.delta.com or any of the aggregators (expedia, travelocity, etc) for schedules and pricing. Southwest flies non-stop between BUF and Ft Lauderdale (FLL), which is about 25 miles north of Miami. The cheapest fare available on southwest.com is $239.40. Not sure how much taxi to Miami is, but you'll have to factor that in unless you have someone picking you up. JetBlue (www.jetblue.com) also flies BUF-FLL non-stop. Cheapest non-stop is $344.40. Non-stop there and one stop back gets you down to $275.10. AirTran (www.airtran.com) will also take you to FLL, but with a stop in Atlanta (ATL) both coming and going. However, it's pretty cheap at $206.80.

Southwest can get you to Ft Lauderdale and back for about $240. There are no non-stops from BUF to MIA.
